I like to think about assault rifles
semi auto magazines a scope for sure.
Maybe a mini 14 w/ a scope?
Had a m-1 carbine, loved the damn thing. Had a 4x scope pointed well too.
I don't know much about handguns though, I go in and look but all I can do is take the magazine out.

fav type: deffinently old school muzzel loaders, Trashcan all new inlines 
Also single shot cartrige rifles, Like Quigly,never had much use for a revover.

i love shoot n a nice hand gun but it depends on what im doing i love guns i allways buy more shot guns then any thing cause i get the most use out of them during hunt n season dont get me wrong i love hand guns but shot guns seem to be what i allways want and seem to buy when im looking to buy a new gun even if i say im look n for a new hand gun i will probley end up buy n a shot gun insted seems to allways go that way

I like them all, at least the types I've shot, but I'll say a lever action since I must choose.
The reason I say lever action, is because I can shoot mine better than most people give a lever action credit for.

I've really gotten into black rifles, or the AR platform during the last year. This image is my Chiappa M4-22 upper on my DPMS AR lower. My next purchase will be a 300 Blackout upper. The AR platform is so versitle and accurate.

An 870 is a good gun, I had one a couple years ago. My best shotgun was a Winchester 12 gauge, model 12, modified choke, burl maple stock, beautiful gun!!

Winchester model 94 30-30. Used for coyotes and deer. Neck shots on deer. Body shots on coyotes for they run off and die. But many times the running is not very far,or far enough..

Remington Express 870 pump shotgun is about all you'll ever need for this part of the country. It's just a great all purpose gun. Home defense, deer, bear, hog, water fowl, or turkey. Whatever your purpose, this gun will suit your needs, with the simple change of a choke and munitions. Mine is a smooth bore barrel and I run rifled slugs through a full choke, and I can hit a pie plate at 150 yards all day long, standing and unrested.

A-R 15 in .223. Ive used it for whitetail all the way down to coyotes. yeah yeah i know its an AR platform but there great rifles once you get the hang of them.

Depends on what I am shooting at.
General purpouse plinking out to 100 yards is my 4 inch model67-1 S&W .38 spcl with my home cast bullets with a load of Trail Boss. Shoots clean, wit about a foot of hold over at 100 yards I can hit 1gal jug with 3 shots or less most times. 25 yard steels are no problem.
Pinpoint accuracy a Savage Percission Mod 12 Long Range. Subhalf MOA on a crappy day with this tack driver.
Fun with lots of bang, and smoke a cap and ball revolver. An 1851 Navy .36 is good fun. If using Pyrodex, or 777 some corn meal filler gives nice added flash and bang effect. With a nice big white cloud of smoke.
Mil surp rifles have multiplied like rabbits in my safe. There is no stopping it. First a Russian Mosin Nagant, then a Springfield 1903 pops up. Then an Eddy Stone, then Lee Enfield comes from nowhere. The M1carbine shows up, followed by a lonely Garrand. The some how I blinked, a French Lebelle, and a Jap Ariska came from nowhere. Aloong with several Mausers. A German, a Spanish, a Finn capture, then a 7mm Argentine.
I like ahooting all of them. Paying for reloading supplies, and surplus ammo is another thing alltogether.

Browning 30:06 semi-auto...next best is a Browning .270 semi-auto...
I know...I know...a bolt is more acurate...but I hate the things...might be because I never owned a good bolt action rifle...I have heard that a good smooth bolt action can be as fast as a lever or pump action...but I have never fired one that was...
any recomendations relative to the kind or type of bolt action that might change my mind?...not the caliber...no one will change my mind relative to caliber...just the action...
