I am ready to move from Pittsburgh and explore other places. I am ready to open the next chapter in my life and I hope to meet the right person to share/write it with.
My New Year's resolution - to try a new sport every month this year. So far, it is working better than I had anticipated. I went ice-skating on New Year's eve with some friends. We had a great time! Recently went skiing with some friends. Wow! I had no idea racing down a mountain on sticks would be so exhilerating. Skiing is definately a sport I will be doing for a long time to come. It is ironic how I am incorporating this idea of "trying new things" has overtaken my life. I am definately loving it. I enjoy having fun and have a great sense of humor but know when to be serious. I love to travel and explore new places but love to get home and share my experiences with friends/family. I enjoy spending time with my friends cooking, watching shows/movies, shopping, dancing, talking, traveling, sports, and various other activities, but I also enjoy spending time reading, exercising, and sometimes being alone doing artsy stuff like drawing and writing. I am a well rounded type with many varied interests - no matter what I am doing, I like to be happy and enjoy the experience; Hence, moving to another city to find everything that I am looking for (culture, fine dining, outdoor activities, people that are interested in having experiences, and great places to shop of course). I am particularly attracted to others that "do" instead of just "talk about doing." With that said, I hope to meet new people that are as interesting and wonderful as the friends that I have now. Naturally, I would love to meet Mr. Right, but I can't imagine writing a list of standards and requirements that he must fit into. The basics: honest, sincere, happy, loving/lovable, energetic, patient, enthusiastic...I really just want to enjoy that person and be comfortable being ME around him and of course, I want him to comfortable being himself around me. I love my job (ICU RN), my friends and like I said, where my life is going. I just am ready for the next part of my life. I am still open as to where to move to and looking very intently at a few east-coast and west-coast cities. Wherever that place is, it must have a great hospital to work at and all of the other things I have already described. Also, provide for me a way to contact you.
