I've dated a transexual. I don't consider myself niether strange nor a lesbian. I don't like the word bi cuz I'm open to transgenders. I like people for the personalities I don't let race nor gender nor age (unless younger) get in my way of finding the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. I've research and discovered I'm pansexual.. lol funny I know but true.

From what I've read in this thread....it seems there is a lot of confusion around the terms transgender, gay, lesbian, and what it all means....
here is my take on it...
words are nothing more than labels....boxes that society wants you to fit in so that everyone else can feel comfortable talking about you or describing you...the truth of the matter is ...we, as people, are NONE of these terms....we are OURSELVES......we all experience love and laughter, hurt and sorrow...it has NEVER mattered WHAT a person is....only WHO a person is....
from the scientific standpoint....
people often confuse, or fail to realize there are differences, the concepts of GENDER identity and SEXUAL identity. Your gender identity is the gender that YOU SEE YOURSELF as. Your sexual identity is those people YOU ARE ATTRACTED TO.
To answer the question: Does being attracted to a transexual make me a lesbian? NO, it doesn't....only YOU can make you a lesbian...if you CHOOSE to wear the label it's your choice....the only label I choose to wear is....ME!!!! That's who I am...wanna know more, just ask!
