I mentioned that it's flattering. But usually there are creeps that make me feel scared and uncomfortable. I ignore them and don't make eye contact but I can feel them staring. When I was at a theme park some random guy touched my thigh walking past me & I freaked out. I felt violated & that's how I feel when guys "rape me" with there eyes. My mind goes crazy when people stare at me for to long  I guess I have had been experiences...

Typically men stare because they are visually and sexually stimulated by the woman. I would say this holds true 99.9% of the time. And typically his mind is conjuring up images of how the woman looks naked. But there is a difference in being discrete about it vs. being a creeper. I wouldn't blame the OP for feeling unnerved...

I understand op....being looked at is one thing....being stared at is another. I remember first going to So. Cal....and some gay stared at me and how f**ked up that feeling was...and then to find out the law protected them out there, if they did that...of course when no witness's were around....then f**k that law....and do what has to be done...bam!!!....lol
I guess you need some means of putting them in their place. A certain look like f**k you....or something.
I know there are things women go thru that are f**ked up.
but legit men go thru some things with women too....that can be equally as frustrating...and I said that just so you know...thats its not just women who face issues with the other gender.

Creepily stare like they're stalking or looking for there next victim. I find it offensive & rude. Most would say you should feel flattered & I do SOMETIMES. But most of the time It honestly doesn't make me feel good about myself... Makes me feel like a piece of meat. I was at walgreens last night & this guy wouldn't stop staring & it made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was scared to even walk out to the car alone. Checking out the opposite sex is normal... But there is a difference between checking out & staring. I wish I could wear the clothing that I want without getting negative attention from guys. My ex didn't like when I wore yoga pants in public& now I understand why. I hope that society changes because it really irritates me. Girls will never win.
