In the older days, when a lady saw someone she liked she would drop her hanky, or an article she was carrying to get the gentleman to pick it up for her. These days, behind keyboards there seems to be a loss of true romantic quality to the romance dance. There seems to be too many who will not just go out, and meet someone today, they fear each other because of the crazy events happening. Personally if I see someone who attracts me, I will make an effort to speak to them, and I guess according to some that would be an invitation for them to run. But where there is a will there is a way, so keep trying folks you will find someone soon.

in our day it wasn't proper for a girl to even call a guy...it meant you were chasing him. To this day I don't ever make the first call..LOL

The old days... somethings should never change. These days more often than not if you just say hi you get a negative response and sometimes over the top insult. Being of an age that has seen the old days and today I like many things from the old days over today.

So true...Where did the days go, where men were actually gentlemen and woman were actually ladies. The game of romance and wooing should be back in action in this day and age.

Also ladies did not discuss sex on an open blog, but rather in the powder room with her peers, nor did they curse without severe provocation. Now the norm seems to be open sex discussion, and language that would make a cheif petty officer on a battleship whince in disbeleif

Men were gentlemen, but in all sexes there is the malformed personalities that beleive they are so much better, and can do as they please. But has it all just been a front for reality?

Thanks for the blog Joseph! I'm old-fashion in some of my ways. I love romance. Pull out my saxophone and play a romantic tune. Let her hold the sax, put my arms around her to teach her how to play. Rub up against her until she smiles. Expose the back of her neck and start creating a new sound out of her. Good luck to you Joseph, we will find our love soon.

Too many details road, the true test of valor, and romance is descretion. The details are to between you, and the lady, not the public as an exhibitionists does.
