Ring, ring, telephone ring....
by dawgpaws at 4/4/2013 9:56:44 AM

First, I gotta admit that my hearing is (as the Massachussens say) "Wicked Bad." Given that, I either have my iPhone on vibrate and in a pocket or on FULL BLAST for sound.
I like different rings for different people - along with photos (if I can get 'em to hold still long enough) - so I know who is calling. It allows me to make a choice if I'm busy - some calls I'll take under any circumstances (my grandkids, my kid or former SIL) while others can wait until I am on the side of the road or whatever. Since this phone lets me make custom vibrations I can emulate the rhythm of the song as well.
I need to beg my oldest granddaughter to teach me how to make my own since most of the ones I want are not commercially available and I can't figure out how to slice and dice the music I to make magnificent ringtones - like "Ring" or "A dog named Boo" by Lobo.
I can't do better than, "It's your brother!" for my wonderful, walks on water, big brother, but I can see doing so much with the music I have.
Do y'all use customized rings? What ring would you want for - say, your sweetheart? Best friend? Feel free to include a sample from youtube.
