My Poetry & what I love to do! by cityrican54 at 8/17/2007 2:37:23 PM I've work with the disadvantaged kids as well as mildly & mentality retarded adolescents & young adults for 32yrs already & truly love it, love helping those who need it most whenever I can. I write poetry as well, here's an example; This is one I wrote in May of 1974. "AFTER GLOW" I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one? I'd like to leave my after glow of smiles when I'm done... I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days... I'd like the tears that i may have caused the grieve that I may have caused to dry before the sun... When I am done, I want to leave an rainbow of happy times... For when I am gone, I want to leave my AFTERGLOW!
