Merry Christmas
His Unequaled Birth

Luke 1 - 2

THE SACRED MYSTERY OF HIS BIRTH (Luke 1:31-38)
Mary did not understand how she would be pregnant with Jesus.
Luke 1:34
The angel told her that nothing was impossible with God.
Luke 1:37
We do not have to understand the virgin birth to validate it.
God is not bound by the laws of nature.
The creation account in Genesis 1:1 is just as much a miracle.
When Jesus was born, it was the first time any angel or person had ever seen God.
1 Timothy 3:16
THE SAVING MINISTRY OF THE VIRGIN BIRTH (Luke 2:8-14)
We are all represented by one of two men: Adam or Jesus.
1 Corinthians 15:22
Apart from the virgin birth there is no hope for salvation.
Our sin debt had to be paid for with a perfect blood sacrifce.
Romans 6:23
Ezekiel 18:20
Hebrews 9:22
God is spirit and doesn’t have blood.
John 4:24
Jesus became human in order to provide that perfect blood sacrifice.
Romans 5:12
Romans 3:23
John 3:16
Acts 20:28
Jesus was 100% God and 100% man which makes Him the only one qualified to die for our sins.
Luke 2:10
THE SOVREIGN MAJESTY OF HIS BIRTH (Luke 1:30-33)
Jesus’ virgin birth solidified His reign as the one true King.
Hebrews 1:8
Isaiah 9:6
Jesus’ beginning was not in Bethlehem, but rather He has always existed with the Father.
John 1:1-3
The world is coming to Jesus, one way or another.
CONCLUSION
Jesus became the Son of Man, born of a virgin, so that we could become the sons and daughters of God.
He took our iniquity and paid the price.
Isaiah 53:6
He not only took our sins, but He has given us His righteousness.
Acts 16:31
