A Nice Day Today

Once again it seems there are so many good things that happen to make so very Thankful to God , Our Veterans & All the Good Friends who Grace Judge's and My life !
Saamir Ali and His wife & daughter just happened to see Judge outside packing the pickup as we are slowly but surely moving me to Pennsylvania . I am happy to report the family is now finally all together here in America as his sister arrived from Denmark a short time ago ! This remarkable family reminds me of the tremendous price some have paid to help America in Our Desperate Battle against Terrorists & Terrorism which have cost so many dearly ! God Bless those who so Love America that they have endured terrific loss and hardship asking only that they may share the Freedoms we sometimes take for granted !!
We look forward to a long friendship with them and a chance to share many happy times together in the future .
Well the day got even better as we had a TV we were wondering what to do with , turns out the Ali family needed one . After spending some time chatting at our house we were invited for coffee at thiers . Iraqi coffee is a very good thing , strong but great . We had a lovely visit , Nada , his wife makes incredible pastries BTW . The girls and I traded dance moves , Dania his youngest put on a traditional costume to srtut her stuff and was thrilled when I showed her how to do a twirl american style . Hadeel , the oldest daughter taught me a few words of arabic and I gave her some selfdefense moves and advice . Meanwhile the guys talked boating , fishing and politics . Nada is a bit shy but listens intensely as she is working very hard to learn the langugae and customs here . She has a smile which lights up a room , something she shares with her 2 daughters . They also made us a gift of a lovely tea service and for me as a special gift tiny brass Ali Baba Slippers to bring me luck in our new home . Now Judge has to build me a stone fireplace with a polished wood mantle so I can properly show my gifts off LOL !
We are both so very happy this family came into our lives and very grateful for thier service to our troops & country !
