Men and the art of DATING 101.. by exotic310 at 2/17/2009 12:23:16 PM With us being in 2009 dating has been fun and it can be trying. Here are some of the things I have ran across with online dating. Mind you I do not have many of these issues with men I meet when I go out, just mostly online. So here goes.. 1. They send you tons of emails but wont send you pics. Or when they do the pics are from 1999. 2. Once they do get your phone # they still email you or IM you even after you made it clear that you want to get to know their personality on the phone before meeting them. 3. They email me you a few times, then dissappear for months then contact you saying"remember me, hey when are we going out"? I have no idea who you are after a week or so if you have not kept in touch consistently. 4. They say they want to meet a great lady and date but they work too much and have no time to even invest in a quick evening drink yet they keep trying to contact you via email but cant make plans to meet you. This is just lame!!If you live within an hour away it shouldnt take more than a week to meet for a drink no matter how busy you are. 5. They actually think meeting for a walk or getting a cup of coffee is a "date", it is not!!! Put some thought into it! And not all of us date ten people at once or meet 20 people a day at a coffee shop. Its just tacky.. 6. They forget to tell you they are currently still married. ahhhhhhh NO.. 7. They claim to be a "good catch" and outgoing but all they do is go to work and sleep. Not such a good catch.. 8. Consistency and follow through is so important in dating or life in general and most smart women do have options outside of this site or others. 9. PLEASE READ THE WORDS IN A PROFILE since most men dont. If you cannot take 1 minute to read the basics then you are not ready to put in any effort to meet a decent woman. 10. Give people the same courtesy you want them to give you and if someone is not interested, move on. Dont be shy , communicate communicate communicate!!! BEST OF LUCK in dating and enjoy life..
