Life is short if you're a Ferret

Some creatures don't live long on this planet. Some things live for thousands of years. Either way, it's a short time when it ends.
Do we go somewhere else? Maybe.
Do we suffer when we get there? Maybe.
Are we absorbed into the ocean that is the universe? I don't know for certain. At least I won't try and convince you either way.
I'll only say this:
Be kind to yourself and others while you're here. I *know* that it makes a difference...for ages to come.
In loving memory of Winston...the little Ferret buddy I wish I had known better.
