To Debate or Not to Debate that is the question

So I am Irish and if you ever live in an Irish family you know they like to fight. Now that sounds bad if your on the outside. As a girl I use to box with my uncles and debate with my grandfather. All in harmless fun!
To this day I love to debate. I am passionate about my opinions and have a touch of blarney on my side. That is why I love smart men and friends that can think quick on their feet. Also in an Irish family laughter is a must!
Someone is always laughing around me. Well today I am home in pain because of my stupid back. I am getting stir crazy. I can't go out because my son is sick has a fever and needs me here. He is sleeping. I am not able to do extra house cleaning because everything that can be done quiet is done. So I am sitting here wanting to debate but I wonder if that is hard for some men. Do people outside an Irish family take it personal. Or are they like me and find it fun.
A good debate actually excites me makes my heart beat and if with a man well I need not say more. 
So the question is to debate or not to debate?
Would someone really want to date a person who likes to debate?
