get to a pa chat meet and greet

hi everyone i just want to tell everyone about my 1st meet and greet experience:
first of all i made a 2 hour trip to meet a bunch of people i don't really know. I arrived about 3 pm feeling a little uncomfortable( but i finally decided to step out side the box). when i arrived i was greeted by trish(the host and one of the nicest people you want to get to know) and kk pa chat's resident head hunter , i was introduced to the other chatters that i know and didn't know from online in this little box called a computer. i was offered a drink (beer etc) i wasn't too sure how long i was going to stay, so i declined. then was offered a pop. there was never any pressure to drink, which i know some people don't.(for those people i'd have to say even though i wasn't drinking i was still comfortable with the people there... once i decided to drink and be myself a funny thing happened i was still comfortable around all these strangers. i ended up staying the night (along with about 15 to 20 other people. we all had a good time. i would like to tell anyone that has the chance to go to one of these do it, the more the merrier. it's a great way to make that person behind the keyboard real and make some great friends, i was the youngest there but age really didn't make a difference, we were all adults there(except when a few of us guys go a little silly. so do me a favor and go to one of these(step out of your comfort zone) i did and the only thing i regret is that its over until the next one.... any question or comments let me know and i try and respond quickly
