Life
by groomerdb at 9/11/2009 4:15:33 PM

As I sit here thinking about the life I have had so far, I remember fun times, sad times, happy times, bad times. And I realize that all these times have made me who I am. I am a woman who is warm hearted, funloving, caring, giving, and still has a lot of love to give to someone special, to share laughter, and to experience more of life in general.
I am amazed at how so many younger people give up so easy and expect so much for nothing in return. Not realizing the more you put into life the more you get back.
I hope I have instilled in my children that to never give up is hope that some day they may get all that they want and worked for from life and be happy in what they receive. To not let anyone or anything tell you you can't do or accomplish it! That you can acheive what you reach for if you put a little effort and a lot of faith behind it.

Very insightful and well put. Nothing comes free and very little comes easy. You have to earnit but that's what makes it worthwhile.

Wonderful post! I find myself enjoying & appreciating the simpler things in life - particularly the beauty in nature, a scenic drive to nowhere in particular, a long walk, etc.

I could nearly write a book on this subject! I do agree with your points, though. It's good that children grow up with the basic values that is essential towards living a good successful life.

You're dead on in your post groomerdb. Nothing in life worth having is earned easily. The more you want something, the more you put into getting it, the greater appreciation you have for it once attained. And I'd really not change much about my own struggles for they made me who I am. About the only thing I'd add is in regards to younger people (in general). I feel that we (the collective 'we') have failed this younger generation by providing for them too much, too often, and to their detriment. They've been spoiled, but not always through their own fault.
