The oldest grand is home for the weekend......so I will spend a little time with him today before he goes back. Yesterday his gf took hin into NY for a play and dinner at Bobby Flay so he was not around.

jennyann, I know it's raining and cool where you are. The rain & cool air that I'm getting is comming from the air flow from Ark. I'm really not that far from you.

Not raining here yet but it is coming. Cloudy and cool, in the 50's, actually kicked the furnace on, house was a bit too cool. And too early to be doing that! Cooking up a big pot of seasoned turnip greens from my garden, some to eat, the rest to freeze. Thanks for the book ideas, will get online and see if my library has them.

I have a varied interest when it comes to reading Roses&Smiles..i just enjoy reading and do it everyday. I am going to have to check out "night sins" cuz i have read Tammy Hoag before. My taste runs to the bizarre is well..I read all 4 of the "Twilight Series" by Stephanie Meyer and anything by Stephen King and Dean Koonz is worth reading to me!! I think i will read just about anything!!

Quiet day here. Church and choir practice earlier, then reading for a while, posted some photos on DH (pictures of places you have been thread in the 60's) and getting ready to warm up some homemade vegetable soup I made a few days ago for my supper. When the weather gets cooler, I start thinking of soup! Yum!

The leaves on the trees are starting to turn beautiful colors of yellow, orange red etc. drove home this afternoon and later this evening i watched the Steelers win their football game. isnt life great sometimes
