A Little Respect goes a long way by nance416 at 11/29/2009 3:54:37 PM Lately, I have been getting e-mails from new people looking at my profile and I have been getting irratated with the body of them. Please give me your opinion of what you think and how you would respond... if you even do. Out of respect, I try to respond to all of them even if I am not interested in their profiles. This is the type of a person I am and how I would like to be treated. Example.... Subject: cuddling Body: hi, lets talk,I'm waiting now (their name) or Subject: Hey I looked at your profile, heres my number ..... call These are just two of them, and I am not going into the ones that are sex related. Hello.....I have a Name! You just looked at it on my profile. How about saying Good morning.... blaa blaa blaa You know a few nice words goes a long way. What ever happened too: "I would like to correspond with you. Please check out my profile and let me know if you are interested" "Hello Pretty One, I saw your picture and your profile I really like your style and I would like to know more about you,..." "I read your profile and I like your kind of person.You sound like what I have been looking for..I would like to talk to you and get to know you better. Have a great day." I am 58 years young, I am a lady. It took me many years to become the person that I am today. Don't you all think the first two are a bit trashy? Definite turn offs for me!

lkavour92	11/29/2009 4:05:04 PM I am convinced that there are some men on this site and others, who are not looking for a relationship at all but just scan profiles in some perverse way emailing outragous and rude messages. What ever their problem is I surely don't want it to be my problem, so I ignore them.
flirty_me_1	11/29/2009 4:11:23 PM I used to try to respond to all. However when they are out of my age range or such a message that there is no easy way to respond to them. I ignore them. I never chat and I watch for scammers. They send out pretty long emails, almost always have their email and or yahoo chat on it. If they are crude, vulgar or trashy..I definitely ignore them.
catsmam76 online now!	11/29/2009 4:17:24 PM No respect no correspondance and maybe with messages like that a block may be in order.This dating thing is hard enough on everybody without this kind of disrespect and stupidity.Common sense and some proper manners with a good dose of respect for others and espicaly the Ladies on this site would make things better for all who find themselves here.

lkavour92	11/29/2009 4:40:32 PM Are we, as women, at a disadvantage here? Putting ourselves forward, letting it be known that we are searching for a partner. Adverizing, if you will. It seems to bring out the responses of certain types that in real life, you would cross the street to avoid.

nance416	11/29/2009 6:24:41 PM Oh for sure there is texangelfire. Isn't it ashame though, you would think that of the younger but people in their older adult years should know better and there is no excuses for them. I mean like face it, most of us are in there 50-60's.

Rich........your right, I do agree with you but its sad.....isnt it but of all the dateing sites I checked out, I think this one is the best. Very people friendly on the most part.
