Hope by just_ct at 12/3/2009 11:00:38 PM There is nothing crueler than hope. Nothing that bites harsher when crushed. Only hope, once taken, rips your soul into shreds. Or can so drastically change the person that you are. Only hope, once taken, makes you question your intelligence. Or question the person that you are and your worth to others. Someday I will learn to keep my expectations reined in. Someday I will learn to hold everything back and hidden. I hope.
