Day 9 by mightypony at 1/8/2010 9:44:10 PM Miserable cold, but it's good to know you have friends when things go wrong. I've been under my house today unfreezing pipes from the help of a friend's light. I had on so many clothes I'm surprised I fit through that small hole to get up under there. I made it though. Hope everyone is staying warm.

1/9/2010 7:28:18 AM go buy a roll of fiberglass insulation, a serrated knife, some gloves, and a couple rolls of duct tape. wrap the pipes and never worry about them freezing again. May cost you now, but in long run it will save you money and time. Insulated water lines don't freeze easy and the hot water stays hot longer- saving the energy on heating. Plus no busted pipes to fix after they thaw out.
