I have six cats...In the warmer weather the two oldest males like to sleep on top of the trailer at nite and are waiting for breakfast in the am. Now however everyone except the one female is in my my bed waiting for personal service of breakfast....:signlol oor things Whenever that sad public service message comes on about abused and neglected animals I draw their attention to it and remind them how cushy they have it. Then I have to switch channels and walk away cause it makes me cry

Mine stay in the house until they need to potty..Let me tell you how fast they can be when it is 15 degrees..Today was up to 39 and they by choice stayed out two different times almost an hour. They have a pet door to get back in when they choose. My two little dogs sleep in my office, have their own blankets and a heater that keeps the room warmer than most of the house is. My kitty is long hair, but he sleeps on my bed and enjoys snuggling and on the electric blanket. I'm sure there are children not kept as warm as my pets are.

Dee Dee stays in the house until its time to go out. A vet once told me that if it is cold for you it is also cold for your pets, the same thing with heat, treat them accordingly. For my bird I have an electric fire place in the bedroom where he is and I turn that on at night when I am working so he has a little more warmth.

Mine are fine....all 5 of them stay in the house 24/7...no outside for my babies. Although, we did have a scare yesterday...it seems that my kitchen door has a bit of an issue with flying open if the door is not properly closed. My son and I came home to find the door open....but all 5 cats were inside...warm and snuggling with each other. The door must have been open for a while...the house was cold.
