Friendship (Vs) Love by rosesandsmiles at 3/24/2010 8:42:24 AM When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares. lkavour92	3/24/2010 2:19:23 PM What a beautifully written blog...My best friend from High School (we were sooo bad) and I, in those days set Catholisism back a good hundred years...We were young wives and mothers, hanging out together, we became single moms, hippies, libbers, liberals, sexy older women, empty nesters, and now seniors...she knows all my failings and all my victories, and will not hesitate to remind me of them all...There have been many people who have passed thru and many I have become close to , but Joycie is the "good girl" to my bad, the "dumb Blonde" to my ponderous elitism, the "perfect housekeeper" to my casual clutter lifestyle, she is my exact opposite and yet we have relied on each other's friendship for 50 years...

sassy_lassy	3/24/2010 4:38:20 PM I just reconnected with my best friend in high school and time had not dimmed our friendship ,life and travels separated us but as it was meant to be we are now connected and enjoying the old and newfound memories..folks that spans 52 years I believe, for any kind of love to grow there must be true friendship. I Thank my lucky star when each friend comes into my life,be it in real time or in this cyber world. my life becomes so much richer and satisfying.
