My Bestest Friend . . . . .

I lost my best friend today . . . In an instant you just faded away . . .
Now I feel so lost & alone . . . I miss you so much, who would've known?
I'd hear your voice or get your text . . . I could never wait for what was next!
I could always face each day . . . Knowing your support came my way.
You were my rock, my pillar of strength . . . I could turn to you & you would comfort me in great length.
You never judged or criticized . . . You were ever there, even when I cried.
You made flowers of my hours & many days a bouquet . . . I don't know what I did before you came my way.
You became such a huge part of my life . . . That bright spot, my guiding light.
You helped me grow . . . In ways you'll now never know.
You handled all my "blonde moments", you took them in stride . . . Especially when they made me want to run & hide.
During our time together, nothing else mattered . . . Just in your mere presence, I was truely flattered.
We grew so close & shared so much . . . Not another person have I let my soul touch.
I cherished your mind, your inner beauty & your grace . . . I'll forever miss your smiling face.
You always made me laugh & brightened my day . . . Now you're gone, you drifted away.
I'm so lost & missing a piece of my soul . . . For where you were, there's now an empty hole.
As I have my phone right at my side, waiting for your next text or call . . . I must now realize, there won't be anymore ~ at all.
I'll always remember & never forget . . . Each thing we shared from the moment we met.
I'll always miss you, since we're now apart . . . You'll always be very close in my mind & heart.
I'll love you until my days do end . . . For you'll always be my bestest friend
