hot hot hot

Master of the obvious that I am. It is hot, I am pet sitting for some friends and I am becoming spoiled by all the room! They have a big yard and lots of trees, and many birds including a hawk that comes by calling every day. My daughter wants to spend her time in her wading pool, while momma dips in her feet and everything else melts away. Did you know popsicles are a food group? she maintains that they are..and it is so hot I give in rather than take the pleading. She is also starting scool this fall and I am starting to wonder what I will do without her every day. I know it is just the beginning of a whole new world of experience for her and she cannot wait to start, but the mommy that remembers when she was utterly dependent on me somehow wishes that she wasn't growing up so fast! OK now that I am about to cry onto a different subject. I have been on this site for a while now and have met some very nice people but have also met some very shallow self obsessed people...takes all kinds I know, but dress size, shoe size, really? how about blood type? Actually, in Japan, some matchmaking is done by blood type, no fooling so, I would like to clear the air and say I am AB positive...and those poor physically obsessed people will end up with only themselves to look at in the end. That is why I will write back to anyone, picture or not, beautifull or not because everyone deserves a chance to speak and be heard...off the soap box I go....
