You all enjoy your Christmas, but remember it is not his true birth date.

The date used is for the Roman celebration of their sun god Sol Invictus, not Jesus's birthday, that is the difference, no one ever tried to ascertain the true date of His birth accurately, Ann. Do you know what day it is?

Does the exact day even matter ?????? Does it ever even say in the Bible if Jesus celebrated his own birthday ??? Do birthdays evn matter ????? What matters .......... Joseph from above ............. is that He WAS born & that He STILL LIVES !!! Is that clear enough ???

nice story, It is my understanding, that jesus was not born in a stable, They did not have trees, A lot of caves, animals were kept in caves, I not sure if this is correct or not, just what I have heard. I have been told Jesus was born in a cave.

Even though I sometimes come across as a bad little bunny, I try to keep Christ in Christmas and in everyday regardless of his birth date. Thank you for sharing the video.

Remember the homeless children as you sit warmly Keith, and criticize others. Instead of building giant edifices to house money plates for offerings, use the money to house over 19 million homeless, and two thirds are families with children. I go to different parking lots once in a while to find such people, and give what I can. So instead of filling the Salvation Army's pot, so the colonel can have his new Oldsmobile, or Cadillac. Find someone's homeless family, and give it to them. One such was a family sleeping in a car in the emergency room of the hospital, so they could use the bathroom 24/7, and the Dad was sitting on a cooler to watch over them all night. All they want is a hand up, not a hand out. Don't forget Jesus, Joseph, and Mary were homeless, and you could be giving a future president a new chance, and a positive attitude, and a warm room with warm food instead of trying to trample someone in a public blog. I was stating facts, only, not criticism. As always Karen you are postive, and you are courteous, you are welcome. As I understand it, he was born in the hills in a cave, one used to bed animals in the field, mercedesone.

If the bible is interpretated correctly, it would seem like it was a cave.....Rose

I've read everything twice, it would seem everyone is in agreement here. As far as giving, yes, it is much more satisfying to give directly to those in need.

The travel routes between cities were used by camel trains, and herders, and outside of towns were hills with caves along the way, and they stopped there to bed down their flocks, and camels, as well as themselves because they were not allowed into towns with the animals unless trading, or selling them there. So that is why the manger story, it was true, but in a cave not outside Bethlehem Inn. Giving directly, keeps the money going where it should go, and not into charity accounts where 80 percent is used for overhead costs. It is rewarding to see the faces of children with new hope in their eyes, better than all of the tea in China, and money in the bank. You will gain their positive thoughts for the rest of their lives, and they in turn will do the same when given the chance.

Oh and Keith, do what Jesus would do, feed the poor, and the masses.
