If by josephfromabove at 7/27/2012 8:30:34 PM My Father always said if was the largest, and most misused two letter word in the English language, but I have some questions involving if. 1. If you found someone that is starving, and said they do not no how to eat, would you call them foolish and let them starve? 2. If you found someone who says they can not love, would you call them shallow, and cold, and ignore their pain, or teach them that love exists, by example? 3. If you came upon someone who has not any legs and wanted to dance would you laugh at them, or abuse them emotionally for self serving interests, or would you make them legs, or a device so that they could dance? 4. If you came upon someone who wants to know what God looks like would you scoff at him, and say no one knows, or teach them what you do know? 5. If you were any of these people would you succomb to self pity, or do something about it? 6. If you saw someone emotionally, or physically abuse a child would you look the other way, or intervene, regardless of a possible threat on your life. Let me see your answers and then I will also.

terry50sclassic	7/28/2012 1:42:03 AM josheph. wow . great 'ifs" ok here goes. 1 a person could have a physical or mental disorder and have to be taught how to eat. stroke , physical theraphy ect. not something to be ridiculed , pray i would be above that . 2. is tought to try again, listen , be supportive, yes try to show love by careing , listening . encourageing .that also applies to the guy in the mirror . 3.I would be humbled by that person wanting to regane a part of there life. be challenged to find a way to help them get it back 4. try to let them " see " God in the way we act. examples, show them the complexity and beauty of life and crations that didn't happen by chance, but a grand design and designer. tell them of miracles and healing and things in m y life that coudn't have jus happen by chance or coincidene , that there has to be a God watching over us . we may not see him , but he is as real as the wind we cannot see ect. 5. now on the other side of the coin. this is the tough one . I am , there is a rick warren series called healing choices, seek out support, others , support groups . pray a lot . its a stuggle for all. at times . how many times do people say I am doing fine when they are a dam lier? be honest with God , nothing s urprzes him, say exaCTLY HOW YOU FEEL. YOUR nor gonna shock him. sorry for caps wasn't tryimng to shout finger hit caps by mistake . 6 is tough , yes, would want to stop it . if had permit to carry would defend myself against the abuser if necssary for the defence of a child . but unarmed and no cop or authority nearby . have to do whatever can to help child even if pt put self in danger , but be constanly looking for way to defuse the situation for the child sake . ok, got to check out a joke forum now ... did I pass the test ?

terry50sclassic	7/29/2012 1:39:10 AM hey joseph, wasn't at all implying that it was a joke , just meet I needed a break after thinking . but your right , life is not a joke and we cannot take a break from it . didnt' mean to come across tha way if did . you ask some great questians tha will stay with us . I would do whatever is necessary to accomadate their wish. 4. I would tell them what I know without endangering them 5. Self pity is not in my vocabulary 6. I would do whatever is necessary to get them to cease.
