Sands of the Missouri River
by josephfromabove at 8/7/2012 7:04:58 PM

The Missouri flooded a year or so back and left miles of sand 2 -4 feet thick all over farm land, and now the 3 states it affected has gone into drought, and the sand will not grow anything becaause it won't hold water. Now the USDA says they bulldoze the sand back in the river because of farm chemicals from the land. Danged if they do, and danged if they don't. So in spots the river created pits not in the stream, and they are going to fill the pits with sand, in the meantime who is going to fill the veggie bins?

I am beginning to think that everyone who can should get the entire set of "Foxfire Books" and the early copies of "Mother Earth News" The ability to feed and provide for ourselves is being lost at a tremendous rate...we need to "Study up" I remember in the 70's, reading "5 acres and Independance" and the "Nearing" books like they were Bibles...Another reality is on its way here and its coming quickly...

Well I just heard on the news that July was the hottest on record in the lower 48 states, and the next was in 1936 during the dust bowl years. This year was average of 77.6 deg.F., and in 1936 was 77.4 deg. F. I have the some of the books you mentioned Ikavour92, have since the 70's when the hippies predicted all of this, and everybody scoffed at them, and said they were all too high to know squat. Most of them were leading intellectuals with great insight, and fore sight. So far as it being a beach Keith wait till the crust slips under your feet, and try to run approxiamately 100 mph to keep up with it. The ice ages did not exist, they were crustal slips, and the poles were in different places. Read your bible, and know that Noah built his ark 200 miles from the ocean, it rained for 40 days, and nights because all of the oceans were cooling the magma during the crustal slip. Don't forget he still had to wait quite a while longer before disembarking the ark. That was the most famous crustal slip. The north pole used to be in Hudson Bay,and the ice goes where the poles are, simple, even a child could figure that one out. Ice age...mularky.

And by the way Keith the bible also says God has destroyed this planet more than once, enjoy your beach.

Just looked at a video on one of the news channels today about the Mississippi riverboat men and the problems they are having with the low water levels in the river - a big problem with the shipping up and down the river. No relief in sight. Saw some areas that now have beaches along the river!
