Hottest July on record!
by josephfromabove at 8/8/2012 6:18:47 PM

I just heard on the news that this was the hottest July on record in the lower 48 states, and the average temperature was 77.6 degrees F., and only in 1936 was close at 77.4 degrees F., and that was the dust bowl years.

I know that I have always loved the heat...but this year for some reason I find it debilitating to be out all day in it...I come home exhausted from the yard sale site...and have to take some time to recuperate before I can get supper made... I know I am NOT getting old so the record heat must be the problem Early in the spring March I think, a lady and her husband stopped by and asked me, "Where is thelittle colored lady who ususally runs this sale?" I answered looking at my still white (sort of) skin," Oh come back in August, she'll be here"

I don't need the weather people to tell how hot it has been. I hate the summer, I've enjoyed being out more in the summer.

this is not the best summer in the world for being outdoors. Extremely humid. NO RAIN for long spurts then SUPER HEAVY rain for LONG SPURTS! Imagine if this was winter. We would average about 1 huge snow storm a week. Not looking forward to wintertime this year!

Satan wouldn't bother with a cone roadtoparadise he/she would take your whole world. When he/she says don't sweat the small stuff they aren't kidding. Ikavour92 watch those skin cells dear you don't want the big C, and I am not going to say the whole word. Teri that is kind of a mixed message there you say you hate summer, but you enjoyed being out this summer???? Sinflemama be careful what you wish for you might just get it, and a whole lot of it too.

Conneticutt is prone to snow, so if you don't want snow move to Florida, or at least a little further south than you are, or go west young lady, go west.

As long as it is not too hot and the humidity level is not high I can deal with the heat - unfortunately that does not describe typical summer weather in NC and especially not this past July!

Well that was for ALL 48 lower states.
