I'm attracted to responsible people who are mentally healthy, who can carry on a conversation first and foremost. The conversation I like is fact based, or helpful and non gossipy conversation or victim mentality.
I also like people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty, physical people who are healthy physically too.
Then it comes down to sexcual attraction, and that would be clear skin, bright eyes, a healthy trim body, good teeth and a great smile...
and I like it if he's taller than me when I wear heels. The color of his hair and eyes makes no difference except for one thing.. I dont like redheads with the bright orange hair and freckles, it is unattractive to me.

I know a lot of people will say something physical or having to do with personality. I'm going to go a different direction on this issue.
When I began writing people from here, I was convinced if I could develop some really wonderful friendships that I would be totally content with that. So, the pressure that could have been on me of meeting someone went away, which was nice. Thus, I wasn't seeking love, but knew that love would find me in its due time (whenever that will turn out to be). So, this one woman began writing me and told me my profile made her laugh. I'm thinking to myself, great. We sent a few emails back and forth to each other. Going good. So, we began IM'ing each other. Within the first couple of times of IMing with her, we're discussing what we do for a living, about our pasts, etc.
What attracts me to her? Sure she's got a cute picture and has a great personality. But it's her life story that attracts me to her. She's right now in her life where I was just three to four years ago. Tremendously positive attitude in general on life. Has a bright future ahead of her. Her journey growing up was is someting I can closely relate to and such. I share a number of similarities with her, she and I are beginning to discover how complimentary we are of one another. I won't go into any more details than that, out of the increasing amount of respect I have for her.
She's the kind of person, regardless if we end up having a wonderful friendship or go beyond that, that I want to be around and would to have that kind of friendship. She has that kind of energy. That's why looks or what a person might say on their profiles doesn't attract me to someone. If looks are what attracts a person to whatever, what happens if they get older and they lose all their hair or they don't look like they once did when a lot younger? What happens if they lose their job (and the money they were making) or face adverse situations in life? Looks are all about what the media and Hollywood suggests what people should look like. You can't know a person by the way he/she looks like and such. You can only know them from within themselves and that requires complete honesty. Beginning in each person's life, and then with another.
