Hey folks, I have to tell you about my experience with motel 6 in St louis, at I-55 & Lindberg. I am quite familiar with that area and know that the motel is fairly new. The room seems comfortable and clean. About 11 p.m. I showered, turned out the lights, and crawled in to bed. Within 5 minutes i felt something crawling on me. I threw back the covers, jumped up, and turned on the lights. BED BUGS!!! I immediately called the office and told them to send someone to my room, there was something I wanted them to see, but the clerk said that she could not come because she was in the office alone. She offered me another room but I was not inclined to spend the night with motel 6 given this experience, so I asked a man across the lot to come and verify that these were indeed bed bugs, then I went to the office and collected a refund, and went out in the middle of a violent storm to find another motel room. Now three weeks later, the motel people say, bed bugs? What bed bugs? They claim that they had the room fumigated and never found a bug one. It seems to me that fumigation does not get rid of bed bugs.....I could be wrong but I would think that the entire bed has to be removed. Especially if it is a motel business. But no diff to me.....I will never stay at a motel 6 again. May be you shouldn't either.

See why I moved from St. Louis to Montana?!
Thanks for the heads up on that because I will be going back for a visit in a few months when I become a gramma for the first time. No Motel 6 for me!
