Both Mr.Right (and Mr. Wrong) are out there waiting to enter into you and your childrens' life, and the best advise I can give you, select a man and get to know HIM first, so that you are able to figue out if he is a QUALITY person. Afterall you are potencially hoping this person will also be in childrens life as well. Sometimes people (both men & women) will say and do whatever it takes, because they long for a solid relationship, however, once the normalness of a relationship gets moving, they can't handle it, leaving your children in a state of confusion. This is not fair to the kiddos. This is why I suggest, taking your time and getting to know a man's true character, get to know his level of patience, and also if you have not had much luck with a certain type of man, try stepping out of the box. Be open to meeting new friends, It's really about how someone is going to treat you and your children. You are Young and beautiful. Protect your children first and foremost, then seek and relationship.

I am looking for that special someone as well. It is so hard to find that one. I am a single father of a 3 year old. My little girl means the world to me. That one person will find you when you least expect it. Keep your head up.

Quote from kayla2006:
I havent yet found Mr. Right i probably wont for a while... im 22 with 2 kids so i guess im still young but i would love to fall in love someday and get married but i can say i am happy and thats because of my gurls... so if your out there youknow what to do...

I do know what you mean, however ~ there is no such thing As a “Mr. Right or a Mrs. Right, perhaps fun for the feeble minded this all a fantasy of what is in our “HOPE CHEST’ as we are told there is a Santa Clause later we are faced with the disappointment that he does not exist, kind of like, the Knight in Shining Armor riding in on his White Horse.

On the slight premise that one reading this and actually concurs; then, they would agree that statistically people change every five years, that said, how will you handle this ‘change’? If the road gets bumpy will you still honor your vows- “For Better or Worst” or will one ‘tuck tail and run’ seek yet another divorce as the solution?
I believe people (this day and age) often wonder how their great Grand Parents and Grand Parents (for the majority) made it through 50/ 60 years of marriage. If you ask a old couple “what’s the secret” they will likely respond “learn to compromise and accept him/ her for change”

So finally, is there really a secret to successful relationships? Or would the conclusion follow one simple word- “TENACITY” thus being true to your vows…

i have to agree with the flyingdutchman, its all based on comprimise.
nowdays people expect to much and dont want to comprimise, thats why theres such a high divorce rate.
those are my thoughts anyway, theres gonna be good days and bad days.
but when you find wat youre looking for in a relationship ,and are willing to comprimise to make it work, then it is well worth waiting for...
happiness doesnt grow on trees ,it more or less has to be manufactured thru cooperation by both parties involved.
