Nothing that serious, but there was one whose personality stoked my kindling a little. It was kind of extended in time (6-8 weeks) but never got past the planning to meet stage since I was all over the country and it was a little lop-sided (me liking her more).
I like this site for lots of laughs & friends, but I have had succesfful casual dates from "paid" sites.

I dont think I ever thought I found Mr. RIght, but I have definitely met and dated some very cool people and also chatted with people who seemed very cool and weren't. This is a great place to be, you just have to proceed with caution until you get to know them. And yes, I have been quite shocked at times when men were definitely not who I thought they were. Play it safe and slow and all will be well.

Yeah a couple of times. The first one sent me about 20 emails in the time that I was at work wondering why in the hell I had not contacted him, that if I was no longer interested and found someone else I should have let him know instead of just breaking contact. I had just talked to him late the evening prior, went to sleep then to work to come home and find my inbox full of accusations. Oh and we had only been talking for 2 days so it is not like there was even thought about some sort of commitment.
Glad I figured that one out early.
The second one well, really thought that was going pretty well, then out of the blue he started questioning things that I had told him about myself, such as my hobbies, like I had been lying about silly little things.
Seems that Lack-o-trust-itis is out of control on DH.
I sure don't know how in the hell you can even get through the getting to know someone stage if they don't have at least a little trust in what you tell them.
I know there are a lot of fakes and hurt people here, but you will never find someone to bond with if you start off by tossing out accusations. Even if you are just being self protective.

There have been many people I have enjoyed talking with through the time I've been here. There is one I would be next to until my eyes closed for good,...but she thinks I want something more. I just want to fel her hand in mine and feel her breath against my ear as she tels me what is happenning next.

Finding Mr. or Mrs. Right is like looking for the right car:
1. Ask yourself what type of car would be best suited for your needs.
2. Search, ask questions and compared
3. test drive it, then commit
Note: Even if you bought a good car, you will always have "maintenance and repairs". If you don't like the car, you have the options to live with it, or to traded in. Last, just walk away from a lemon.

What's up with that? I had that happen to me too I guess some guys think if you talk with them a couple of days in their mind you have an exclusive relationship going

Listen to as many people as I have complain, piss & moan...you'll use the collective term "we" as well....it's all subjective, Fred...that is my experience...yours may be different...
