Have you ever logged on and started browsing profiles, just kinda seeing who is new or maybe been doin a little profile perving, and click on the little picture icon and when the profile opens, think OMFG that is one fugly picture?
Or check your email and there is a picture of a super hot person, so you go to the profile and the description says, "My best friend" and the rest of the pictures are totally screwed up?
I mean DH is a dating site right? So why do people take the time to upload pictures of other people, pets, vehicles, buildings or are so fuzzy and out of focus nobody can tell what they are?
Come on people? Digital cameras are idiot proof.
If I wanted to see a cat or a dog I would go visit PAWS.
It's a DATING SITE people expect to see pictures of YOU, so they can learn what you look like and maybe something about you.

I love it when you look at the pics and then you see
the real person  its like DAMN how old is
your pictures you posted on your profile
oh and if you look at how old the animals are then you
can some times figure out the age of the person

I can't bring myself to perv profiles anymore.... too depressing! If I can actually make out what they look like from their picture, they usually can't string two sentences together.... 
I figure it's just as easy to hang out in the forums and at least have some fun!

The main reason for so many people NOT to post pictures or to post deceptive ones... is contained in the text of the OP.
We have far too many shallow individuals on here, ready and willing to judge a persons worth by how they look. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but vanity goes right to the bone.

Yes, and that can be very scary. I was talking to a guy for awhile, and he sent me some more "recent" pics of himself. OMG! Very scary. He looked NOTHING like the profile picture of himself. I don't know why people do it either, its pretty lame.

So basically the shadow people are scum because they don't post pics and the ones who do post pics can't generally be trusted because their pics are old, unfocused or of other people...........
