I know there are 20 posts a day here about photos...But I am just so annoyed I had to start my own.....
Why is it that ladies(ok.. ladies are the majority who take them) Post Glamour shots that essentially hide their real appearance?...OK..I understand you want to look your best..everyone does...but taking a picture that purposefully hides your real appearance is dishonest(all you ladies LOVE to talk about honesty..well..here's a bit back at ya)..A photo..for women OR men should be taken well lit, not off the mirror in the bathroom, taken in the past YEAR and not just a head shot(unless other pics in your profile have a full body shot)and save the Glamor shots for some other point in life..I know I want to see the real person...crows feet, a wrinkle or 2(but not TOOO many...but bottom line..I want to like what I wake up with..and if you need 1 hour in a "salon" to look presentable..most likely after the 1st shower..that image is gone anyway..
PLEASE..BE HONEST with yourself and any partner you may attract....A "Dishonest" photo..men or women only sets up the reality of hurt feelings, frustrations and wasted time and energy where both players may have found something better..for them with just a little less glamor..and alot more honesty..
And yes..I am pissed because I saw a lady/profile had a great profile..it included many of my instant "buzz words"...Professional, Masters Degree, Independent, self sufficient and witty...
The pics all appeared recent(u can tell the diff between digital and 35mm)and she looked "sharp and fit....FROM THE WAIST UP..we spent 3 weeks chatting and talking and arranging our 1st meeting..I tried for weeks to "imply to her" my *type*..without being rude, I mentioned I liked a petite, "fit" lady...her replies were "cloudy" on the subject..but I gave her the benifit of the doubt...
1 nite before our "meeting" she finally told me that "I am a pear shape"..most of you know what that is..but for those that you don't..imagine a lady size 6 on top..and a size 12/14 on the bottom....
I tried to be "polite" But I said..."you know..I've mentioned numerous times...I prefer a petite lady"..her reply was "well..I am 5'1""...Well, needless to say..both of us were upset, and she of course accused me of seeking a "Barbie"...OYE!...I held back on telling here that the whole problem would never have occured if she had just posted "HONEST Photos" that showed her figure..and then..no one would have wasted the time, and both would have moved on..instead..I had to get the Glamour out of there.

That's the risk you take when dating online. Outside, you see everything first hand.

Well I am honest and the pics of me on my profile are true and only very recent last two months...I am no glammer puss just myself....and talking about people posting glammer shots what about the men with all the flabby bellys wobbling above their daks Uh who keep it hidden to surprise us ladies with it later...oh and in my profile where i have my hair up thats because i was toolazy to comb it lol no I dont spend much time in front of the mirror I am what I am like me or lump me..Another thing while Im on the soapbox I am only small and that means all over and if i could post a full length pic on here i would...Have patience I am still learning and hope to one day show that I am really me from head to toe..ciao
