Why do some people have to think that they are so right and so what ever they think that they have to be such an a** to someone that it makes them leave ... Why do jerks effect people on here when there are so many that like that person yet they leave and the jerks hang on here ... (if your a jerk you will know this is about you and if not then you know who or whom it might be about) THis is for one I know that left that and against someone that is still on here ....

I've left sites because of really mean, obnoxious people before. Life is just too short to deal with abuse.
As for why they do it, who knows? My personal thought is that they have no power over their real life, so online, they bully other people to give them a sense of control.
But I'm not a psychologist, so just take that with a grain of salt. Just tonight, someone tried to pick a fight with me. I just stopped answering his posts, let the thread die. That's the only way to handle them.

Hi Florida~I liked what you had to say. I too avoid the drama..not worth it. I just act as if the instigator is not there. They like attention..even if it is negative attention. Mean people really stink!

They dont get to me just know a couple they have and they left ... think it sucks and they feed on it and people letting them know there jerks hoping more will read and learn not to give them any fuel to feed on and they will not win ...

Because they place too much emotion on a web site. If you took this or any other site for what it was and used it as it was meant to be then you wouldn’t have this problem..
Ask yourself this, if you’ve never met a person, they don’t know you or anything else about you other then what you’ve openly shared why do you care what they say?
Block them move and have fun.. if you can’t handle it then maybe its best you get off the net.

Have no idea who / what you are replying to but don't you think that starting this kind of thread might be adding fuel to these jerks' fire and giving them the attention they are supposedly craving? Just my opinion. Seems to me if you just ignore them (same as ignoring small children throwing tantrums) eventually they might get bored and go away/stop?
I am having a hard time finding very many threads that don't get hijacked by the negativity no matter how well they start out. I mean is this a dating site or what? And reading through makes me kind of worried about talking to anyone as it seems everyone has to pick a side or something. Reminds me of junior high popularity contest. All I want to know is where are all the drama free hot single men!!?!!

I'm not sure which jerk you are talking about. We have at least five of them but I think I know who left and it's sad. I thought it was one of the most liked people on here and I'm hoping Dustin's new chat room will weed out the jerks.
marilyn, don't let her get to you. The mods are going to pick up on her game some day but then she has so many profiles they may never get them all.
