Fake Fruit vs. Real Fruit.
Fake Fruit = Fake people. People that say things they "think" is what society wants to hear but they don't mean a word of it.
AND
Real Fruit = Real people. People that just tell it the way it is. Honesty can be brutal at times however, would you prefer the lies and sugar coating or what is real / the truth with 0 trans BS?

You don't get my point.
Say you are at the market and someone bumps you kinda hard with their cart. They (hopefully) say "Oh I'm sorry" and you may look at them and say "No problem"..it's fake.
If you were with a sibling or a spouse and they rammed you-you would say in an unkind voice, "CAN YA WATCH WHAT YOUR DOING!?" ..
Is it our comfort level with home that gives us the right to yell?
(another question I suppose)

Manners exist, I suppose, to keep us from murdering one another! Today on the bus, a man began to yell and
cuss at the driver. What surprised me was that no one (bus was full) even turned to look at him except me...
we have come to accept the expression of rage or dislike in public. I see no reason to throw the garbage of my
mind onto anyone else if I feel personally slighted or put out. Remember the old song, "I'm just a boy whose
intentions are good, oh, lord, please don't let me be misunderstood."

I don't like plastic fruit. I would rather enjoy a real peach.

We even see a lot of that in the forums.

Many people ask questions and or debate and or argue about something and simply can't handle the truth. The truth hurts. They are sensitive people and or ones without granolas to withstand the truth - even if it's constructive criticism to help them. And many proclaim they want to hear the truth.
I like real fruit.

Whose truth? Truth is often a matter of perspective and there are very few absolutes.
IMO I think the reality of the "little white lie" would suggest that truth is not always the best route.
As a general principle, truth is preferable, because the alternative is unsustainable.

Try tact. Some people like to use the truth to hurt people. I am not saying you should lie but consider the person feelings before you drop the "T" bomb.

a white lie is normally to protect someone or something. if i was giving a surprise party for a friend and they asked if i knew anything about it, i would say no. yes it is still lieing, but it's an honest protection lie. would you ruin the fun by saying i'm so honest, i can not tell a lie, yessss there's a surprise party for you. let me give you the details......
