I get more mail than I can read. People with no pictures don't get a response and I don't even look at the email from them.

You are correct, it does seem that some people on this site (I am sure it could be any date site) should or could learn some basic human interaction skills……
The fact that someone doesn’t respond the way a “normal” person might expect…well, don’t assume that it is because of you….
There are some nice people out there…I have met one nice lady from my area on this site…..she seems real enough….doesn’t seem to play games…..is pretty forward and seemingly honest about what she wants…….so that said, I know that there are people on this site who aren’t rude and at least one who is really nice.
I have come to the conclusion that many of the people on this site seem to use it for what it is…entertainment, a way to interact with people without apparently actually meeting anyone…..I guess that makes it easier for those who might be socially challenged….or maybe simply a tool for those who really just want to pass the time but really deep down don’t want anymore than that. If that is the case...that is fine too.
So…I guess I would take it for what it is…..and definitely don’t stress out because someone on this site bailed…..refused to continue corresponding……or whatever it is……maybe when it actually came down to really meeting a real-life human being…they froze up….panicked….or just came to the realization that this is date site…..and wow, some people on this site might actually think about dating someone they meet on this site, impossible I know….then it might come back to what I mentioned before, if a person is socially challenged…they really never intended to meet a someone…shoot, that would take away the security of hiding behind a monitor and pretending they are meeting people…..
Honestly, I think a lot of people would be better off meeting people the old fashion way….in person….no fake pictures….no false sense of who we really are…..I would work on getting out from behind the monitor and use your communication skills in real-life……I am sure you will do just fine.

I have thought that the ability to meet soo many people soo easily online has created a general lack of respect. Almost as if everyone has forgotten that there is a PERSON on the other end of the emails. The old saying, "A bird in the hand..." has been lost to, "What else can I find?". Maybe we should remember how to show the bird in our hand some respect and kindness before we toss it away soo easily?

Um... Well, soetimes people get busy. I do it all of the time. Then, I get so many, tha I just delete them all. It's not like we are trying to hurt feelings, it just happens. P.S. Y N THE PHUCK DIDN'T U WRITE ME BACK???
