I say go with your heart and good luck to you. I met someone on here too, we went on our 2nd date tonight, and I really enjoy his company, so I believe you can find someone, just taking it slow and letting things progress slowly between the 2 of us.

i found my soul mate, I beleived, I loved, I cherished, I supported and cared. She ended up screwing other men while she was drugging and drinking, leaving me helpless, brokenhearted, miserable and rerady to die. She was my soul mate, she was the love of my life, she crushed me. Chemical imbalances, hard to compete. I will never trust or love like that again.

It is too bad that happened, but to say you'll never care as much again probably isn't true as when you date someone you take a chance on them. Even taking a job is a gamble as you never know what will happen down the road.

There are alot of men on this line, but they email a few times and if you aren't the exact match they don't want to email anymore it is like they want to find someone that wants exactly the same thing or they move on. I really don't think it is possible to find someone exactly like yourself.
I've frustrated with this dating thing also, but I'm willing to make some compromises for heaven sakes.

why would you want someone exactly like yourself? that would get old after awhile. yes, i think you should have alot in common, but you should have individual likes and dislikes that are just your own. and you can learn from each other, trynew things you have never done before.

So you really haven't even laid eyes on him? And you think he is your soul mate? Only communicating by P/C and phone? WTF, You've given your heart to some one you never met? I did this, Met this woman on-line, not a date site. Playing poker. I loved her voice. We exchanged pics. She was very pretty, sexy looking. This went on for over a year. I had it in my head, we would spend the rest of our lives togeather. I sent her the money to move to me. She came and we lived togeather for a little over 3 months. Sex was great. She was very comfortable and my family welcomed her with open arms. She became one of us, right away. She wanted to raise dogs, little ones, Shi-tzues. The laws on dogs are different here than where she was from. She was always uptight about her dogs, worrying about getting them taken from her. She came to realize, she needed to return to her home and left. I still love her. I don't know if I will ever be with her again. We still talk. We will see.

hey!! i can totally relate to thinking u found ur soulmate and then they cheat, lie, drug and drink and leave!! i was w/my "soulmate" for 12 years and we had a family and a life together! then BAM!!! it all fell apart and so did i!! i am now better, stronger, and feel like it was the best thing that ever happened to me! do i think i can find a soulmate in the online world?? don't know, but i will b having fun trying!! this is my first post and first time in this type of online community! best of luck and best wishes to all of u!!!
