I can't stand that way most women look down at me when I approach them at, say the grocery store or the library for instance, they will take one look at me before I even open my mouth and say,' I am sorry., but you are not my type.'
How the hell do they know if I am not their type or not? Do they know who I am? Do they know my likes and dislikes ? Do they know my hopes and dreams? Is all the information about me tattooed on my forehead where I can't see it and they can?Do they know that I love to cook and bake? Do they know that I love to snuggle and cuddle? Do they know that I am really good with kids? Do they know that I am a good listener and I love long deep conversation? Do they know my heart? Do they know what I want out of life? No I don't think so...They just look at my fat out of shape body and say, ' sorry you are not my type.'
Damn it!!! Just get to know me first before you automatically rule me out. You never know...I may become the best friend you ever had...I may become the best thing to ever have happened to you...You never know...just give me a shot, that's all I ask...what do you have to lose?

You'll find the right person. Maybe you could offer to teach a cooking class at a kitchenware store, or read to small children during your local library's story time. Many single moms love guys who both cook and enjoy kids!

It really is unfortunate that some people judge other people by what they think they know.  It's often based off of how you look. It has been said that people are pretty lazy. So you have about 3 seconds from the time they initially see you to make an impression.  Most women like nice cologne and in just the right amount. Alot of us also like to be helpful. Asking a question like "have you ever tried this" or "what would you recommend", might get their attention long enough for you to compliment them on something. There is definitely an ART to stealing more than 3 seconds in order to let someone know about the qualities you have to offer. The good thing is that everyone is not superficial. Good Luck!

Honestly dude, if a woman is that superficial, you just saved yourself a big battle down the road.
I am dating a lady I just met, she is only 105 pounds, very sexy, beautiful... etc...
I ask her last night why me?? Greatest answer I have heard...
WHY NOT?? your nice, have been everytime you come in, you make others laugh, all the other girls here just think your a funny guy, and you ask me for my number...
WHY NOT??? cant beat that, she didnt see my fat, she saw ME..
Let me tell you, there are women at there that LOOK at the man, then there are the good woman that look INTO a man..
Good luck and keep asking, if I had done what I wanted and not ask her, I wouldnt have spent last night in her arms and riding with her all day, we went out to the lake... I am going to go to her work tonight.. LOL

No I'm not talking about your weight...I read your profile, a serious woman probably wouldn't pass you by. Keep the faith...someone will pay attention and she'll wonder where you've been hiding.

I hope you do to, cause she ROCKED my world, I feel like a high school dude again...
I have not lost my breath with a women since I first met my EX waaaaayyyy back when, if that is a good sign, then this lady is gonna be awsome..
I cant believe she actually wants a guy like me, I mean she is not one of those too skinny girls, her petite form is perfect for her body style and size, if she was tall it wouldnt look good, but she is small and short.. I look like a freaking over sized bear next to her..
I feel like I have won the grand prize, and I can tell you this, I will be something very special for her soon, when I learn what some of her interests are, I will be getting the biggest one for her..
IF she likes say, Tigers or something, there is a place here that raises Tigers and you can pet the baby tiger cubs, if she likes that, I will be making an appointment for her to get her picture taken with 2 cubs..
One girl liked teddy bears, so I paid for a singing telegram from a giant teddy bear, who handed her 2 bears, his and hers, with her name on mine, and mine on hers..
When we broke up, she tried to give them back, I said, baby, I dont take back gifts, I got that for you, please keep them...

Personally, I think you're very cute! I don't tell men they're 'not my type', but let them know in a subtler way if I'm not physically attracted. It doesn't mean I'm narrow in my preferences...I look into a man's eyes and let him speak before I make any decision...I have witnessed many diamonds in the rough.
Don't let it get you down...if they're that blatantly rude, I don't think they're YOUR type!

if you know your body is out of shape, and you think for health and dating prospects you might tone it a bit... why not try that...
if that does not work....
i do not know... i would have to know you personally to know what signals you are giving off that turns the womens eyes away...
you could try curves, there are alot of divorced moms working out, so men will look at them well enough to ask them for a date... believe me men can be superficial too.

I am superficial, I admit it, even most folks wont, something has to catch my eye..
IF I see a lady and we make eye contact, if there is nothing, then there is nothing, I might try talking to her some, if still nothing, I move on, maybe I passed a good one up, but to be honest, to many times you end up trying with a certain person thinking you can make it work and it never does.
I prefer a certain type of woman, that is just my preference, so I tend to talk to only those types..
I have had just as many shoot me down, more actually, but I keep trying..
