k to start, i'm new here, forums n all. i've been single for almost a year, only been on 4 dates since. my last one, we met on the internet, shared pics, she was cute and we clicked. so after a few weeks we meet. i'm 25 and she was 22 by the way. when i asked if we should hit a club in the city, she had an excuse about the license thing, left it somewhere. i was already suspecting that she was younger than she said. that iced the cake, least i think. i thought about saying, well let's go get it,, but then what??? it would be weird right, when she can't find it. she looked around 20, but apparently was definitely not 21. so i think she's around 5 years younger than me. i havent called her back, cause the lie thing, is that weird? either way, it's a bad date.
does this happen to anyone else?

Men lie about their age either if they're running from the law and have to get into the Foreign Legion to escape or online, where anyone over 32 is automatic dogmeat.

OP: Maybe she really did forget/misplace her license? I know I have a few times. Very rare, but it happens.

Hello all,I have never lied about age,53 now.At 52 a 38 yrs old asked me out,we met when he towed my car,I said(knew he was younger)"do you know how old I am?"He said about 45.I said add a few on.Sad that people lie about anything but they do,so careful.

OP-She probably lied cause she thought you were cute and wanted to go out with you. Not saying it's right, just saying that's why she did it.
People lie about all kinds of crazy stuff... stuff that does matter and stuff that doesn't. Not sure why they do, but some do. It's a shame.
BTW... I'm 42... I'll be 43 in October. (And I know where my license is... LOL)
