Like most have stated, there is nothing "wrong" with it, but it's not my style.
As long as both people know the score and agree with it, more power to them. Sometimes I wish I could do that. Then I wouldn't have gone 27 months, 22 months, and 12 months without in the last 6 years, but it's just not something I can do.
In general, men have stronger physical needs and women have stronger emotional needs. It's God's cruel joke.

I'm sure there are many men and women who had met through a "One Night Stand", who are now in a loving relationship. 
Very true, but after a 32 yr. relationship - figured out I really screwed up.

Well for me.........If everyone is in agreeance.........There is nothing wrong with it, Just dont make them think it is anything other than that and be honest it you are having sex with someone else. They deserve that much
Trace's comment got me to thinking. Thank you Trace! The two people having the one-night stand may be in agreement but something Trace said jumped out at me. The statement was "...and be honest if you are having sex with someone else. They deserve that much."
I think the person who really deserves to know is the 3rd person in that picture. You know, the one that you're already in a relationship with & who you will go back to after that one-night stand is over. How fair is it to that person to expose them to whatever STD you may contract during one night of empty sex?
I have no desire for a guy who sleeps around and/or does one-night stands. The ironic thing is that men who do this, don't tend to want a committed relationship with a woman who sleeps around. Nope, they want a woman they can trust. Hmmmm.... go figure.
By the way, I'm not bashing men; women do it too....obviously.

There ya go, Missing_Out. This is what many are misunderstanding. One Night Stand means ONE NIGHT...you are gone...never to be seen again. This is NOT like a friends with benefits situation, nor even what some call fk buddies which is even less than a FWB. FB's are just sex. No commitments.
Friends with benefits means you are FRIENDS and you have sex. You do stuff together, hanging out, talk on the phone, etc but you do not live together. Most FWB's are exclusive. FB's are usually not. One night stands are JUST one night of sex, ya aren't friends, you do not go back for seconds or thirds, you do not go out or chat or whatever.
Usually a one night stand is...it wasn't worth it to someone to do it again OR it was a notch on someone's belt or bedpost. A collector. See how many people they can screw or something like that. Many of those types both men and women, out there are like that.

There are a lot of men and women who are willing to enter into just that: a ONE night stand. There are many of us who are not though. I would prefer to never experience sex again than to have casual sex with many.
