In some cultures, the man is the dominant one..its his job to hunt for food, conquer(sp?) and kill to defend the family. As a hunter , the man feels obligated to take down as much as he can to prove his superiority. So if a man 'bags' a lot of women, he is just proving his hunting skills..
If a woman sleeps with lots of men, she is considered weak, loose..slutty..trashy..
its not right or equal..but that, unfortunately is how the world works..
live by your own morals and standards..put on blinders to block out society..you are your own person and can make up your mind who you choose to be with.
