alright for starters the lake of fire was first intentionaly for satan and his angels only nobody else and the bible says that the devil and satan are the same sense it was first intended for him and his angels he has to pay no rent because he will be destroyed and you do have a choice no one will burn for eternity the bible is saying the effects would be forever like sodom and gomorrah the were destroyed but the effects of their desruction are for eternity they are not still burning today
