Agreed. I find tranquility in working with my own energy. Harmony through breath and movement. Good for the mind, body and soul.

if you learn Yoga then meditation goes hand and hand and if you practice you will achieve this, like everything it takes time and effort and a clear mind.
start by learning to breathe.
google up anapanasati and Khundalini, learn.

Yoga, tai chi, Pilates.... they all work with chi. The martial arts might be an area you have not considered, also.
Another "work" which is not a work out per se is massage and/or self massage.

Agreed-it all about understanding chi-or universal energy, and your connection to it.
I really believe that yoga, and meditation are great assets in this, along with working on aligning your chakaras
All of the above help gain a better understanding of chi-and how you can harness it and use it
i think night tangle has in mind working with energy for healing, and harnessing it to divert those who seek to use your energy negetaivley
enegry vampires-and wriaths and how to deflect them
what do you guys think of cyrstal work related to chi energy-
night tangel and I have had conversations re: these issues-thats why I though I could elaborate on what she intened by the question at hand
i suggested focusing on the chakras-balancing yourself-through meditation or yoga, or if possible-both, to fully realize your connection to the life enegery around us, and possibly working with different stones to help focus enegry better for the purpose of healing or reiki
what do you guys think?

thank you nico, that is more of what i mean. altohugh i have no trouble with vampires and wraiths (well i kno how to deal with wraiths now) hhmmmm i guess i'm not entirely sure of what i mean. although meditation does seem to be a good place to start.
well i am mostly self taught in anything i kno. so i kno i have huge gaps of knowledge and in those gaps are deffinately the vocabulary in which to relate to others in.
but healing is a major one that i would like to learn, offensive energy work is relitively easy. so is sheilding. i would also like to learn how to control my empathy, which i have no control over but it hasn't flaired up in months. it would also be nice to be able to refine mind reading and the remeberance of past life memories.
i think thats all. thanks guys

It is usually better to do energy work using your spiritual crews. The reason is if you do not connect to a higher source, you can get very tired using just your own energy. We as humans have a finite amount of energy to work with. If we CHANNEL energy from elsewhere (Spirit/spiritual crews/the Universe/Source), then it is easier to achieve greater works without consequences.

I understand chi to be this life force, ours but also a universal force. As I understand it, an individual pulls in this
energy, which is all around us, by use of chakras, by meditation, zen centering, and so on. To some degree, I feel
all work outs use chi, for have not we all felt our energy increase? I know that endorphins are real, yet to deny
powerful energies, some of which we have given names, gravity, light, x rays, etc, are there would seem to me
anyway to deny our place in the universe. Not the center of, just part of!

I like to call it "Energy Play". I often take some time to form and manipulate my personal energies and the energies around me. I never ask for the help/guidance of deities and my "rituals" do not have any dialogue whatsoever. I only work with "raw" energies.

"We as humans have a finite amount of energy to work with."
A better way to say this is that our body can only
withstand a finite amount of energy. We can tap into
and use an infinite amount.
Everyone has a link to source energy. The question
is, how corroded is your link?
