The Cowboys aren't much of a surprise team since they are one of the teams picked to go to the Super Bowl. Under the radar teams anyone?

My pick for surprise teams of '08
1.)Jets (for obvious reasons)
2.)Raiders
3.)Eagles
4.)Vikings
But Cowboys will be #1
Not sure how the Raiders would fit in as a surprise team. Russell is just starting his rookie season all over again, basically.

I love the Broncos and I do think they will be improved this year, especially on offense.
They really believe in rookie Ryan Torain who they will be without for about half the season due to a broken elbow and they are still keeping him on the active roster.
I don't think our defense is going to hold up though. We should be better at stopping the run but I don't think we will be able to pressure the quarterback once again.
They keep getting rid of their best defensive linemen.
The Jets will be much improved but I don't think that will surprise anybody.
The Lions could do some damage especially if Calvin Johnson has a strong year.
Maybe the Cardinals will surprise some people.
The Saints should rebound although Reggie Bush is very overrated.

I've been paying close attention to the Denver Broncos during training camp and pre-season. I don't think this club will have much of a problem puting points on the board, as they have a very potent offense. The defense looks much better than last year, particulary in the linebackers and defensive line (which still can be improved, but MUCH better than last year. Special teams is much improved, and their new field goal kicker put one through the uprights in practice from SIXTY EIGHT YARDS AND HAD 10 YARDS TO SPARE! This guy has a LEG and looks like a great find for the Broncos. A very young club now with a lot of veterans gone. But they are quick and fast to the football and I believe will get better as the season goes on, unless they have key injuries.
So I will say that the Broncos are going to surprise some people this year by being a LOT better than expected. San Diego is still the class of the AFC west, but I think Denver might challenge their supremacy before too long unless some miracles happen in Kansas City and Oakland. They had a 7-9 record in 2007. I'll bet they win at least 10 games this year. (San Diego's defensive coordinater in an interview with NFL.com admitted that his biggest concern within the division is Jay Cutler and how to try to play defense against him. He is expected to have a breakout year in his 3rd year in the league).
Look for the Broncos to be on the way back up. (Now that I said this, it will probably be the KISS OF DEATH for them! LOL!)

oooh...I like this! Go Broncos!!!

The Steelers are a pretty decent bet to contend for the playoffs. I would have to cheer a little harder for those damned Lions! They picked up a pretty decent running back, that can't hurt.

As of halftime, I don't think it will be the Vikings(unless they run on every down). Who the hell is Travares Jackson? No wonder I haven't heard from him! And to think the Packers fans are worried about Rodgers!

WOW! New coach, new QB,New RB, maybe new result, that division should be pretty tight this year. But then again it was just the Lions. But very impressive none the less.
But with all that said and done GOOOOO!!!! COWBOYS
