If God sends us only what he thinks we can handle the man he sure thinks I can handle more then what I think I can. This is my situation I am a divorced single mom (and no my exDH is not the babys father) and my son and I live with my parents while I try to better my life. Well I finished a class at my local college for bank teller training thingking I could get a job as a bank teller, what I didn't know was that my stupid teen years of destroying my credit would prevent me from getting a job in a bank. So I am job hunting for somewhere that understands that I am a single parent and my son is number 1 in my life. I am having a hard time finding work due to my past job history and having been out of work since I had gotten pregnant with my son. Okay so anyways I need prayers that I can find a job.
I need prayers for my soon to be 3 year old son that we just now discovered thanks to his proactive speech therapist that he has a submucous cleft palate that will eventually require surgery on once we find a specialist in our area.
The last thing is my dad at the age of 53 was given his two week notice last week. He is having major problems finding a new job when he has all these skills but no degree to back any of it up.

I will be praying for you and your family. Please do believe me when I say that God does not give us more than we can handle.
God does answer prayers. It may not be how we would want them answered but God knows what is best for us.
I too have been going though a very rough time in my life and just when I feel I can't take much more, God proves to me that He does love me and takes that heavy load off of me. Just a few days ago I posted that I needed prayers. And ppl on here did pray for me and prayers have been answered. Not the way I was hoping but like I said God knows what is best.
Hang in there and don't give up. Believe in God and He will provide a way for you.

Charlene, God wants you to completely lay it all down at his feet and give it to Him. He does His best work for us when we are at our lowest. He wants us to TRUST that He can take care of us. Have faith, pray and read your bible. Prayers are with you and your family.
Do Not Worry
Matthew 6:25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. “God will not give us more than “WE” can handle.”
I use to get really pissed when someone would give me that line because "I" was NOT handling things well. Then I discovered it was never meant for me to handle things on my own. The “we” is the Lord and myself, I can’t do things alone, I need to remember to call on Christ for help and guidance. And accept his timing and plans for my life.
Jer 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Hang in there, you are not alone.
