Did anyone else think that Rashad Evans broke Chuck Liddell's jaw when he knocked him out tonight??? That hit was crazy.

Yeah there's a very good chance that he broke it. The place I was watching it, which was very obnoxious and loud all night got instantly quiet. You could have heard a pin drop.

After watching Chuck's last few fights, I was wondering who would finally nail him. Of course this happen to almost all fighters after they have fought a long time.

Chuck got caught that was it it happens to the best fighters in the world cant help a good lucky punch! Chuck won the whole 1st round hands down he tagged Rashad with like 8 good punches and Rashad just ran from him than finally threw an EYES CLOSED overhand right and landed it thats it!

honestly I dont think age has much to do with it I mean im sure it doesnt help being older than someone but I think its kind of like when you do get caught with a good shot I think that makes you more I guess able to be rocked becuz before the rampage fight no1 ever really could catch Chuck than after that hes been rocked in every fight so I think its all about get caught on that damn button! man I want the chuck of OLD back I want him to know some f**king heads off like the good old days lol

Thats exactly what he did to beat Wvanderlei silva he threw kicks, took him down, countered, even did a spinning back fist it was like the chuck of OLD and it was awesome he dominated Silva and I loved it and he was dominating Rashad the whole fight and it looked like he was toying with him almost and than rashad threw that combo with his god damn eyes closed thats what pissed me off the most was closing his eyes he just like threw it damn ahh it still gets to me my boy chuck he needs to get back on that horse and ide damnit! no more of this getting bucked off shit!

Right before Evans knocked Liddell out he got a punch right into his armpit. To bad it didn't land where it should have.
But you guys are loosing me now, I just watch it every once in a while. I don't study it. haha.

When fighters start losing they take alot of punishment .. does a lot of damage to brain don't matter who you are, besides other injuries. Its hard for anyone to sustain to much punishment for long & stay at the top with all those young eager developing fighters coming up the ranks. Only few of the champions keep thier titles for a long time. These guys have to face brutal fighting to get & stay there.

I think the Jury is still out on that fact. Yes, Chuck has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights but what is the reason? Is it that he's getting older? or is it that everyone else is just young and improving? I'm still not sure. I think it's much easier to make a determination with someone like Tito who was a one trick pony, and was VERY GOOD at that one trick. And that used to be enough, but now everyone is on a much higher level and Tito hasn't really improved. It'll be interesting to see where Chuck goes from here.

I agree...chuck is like a 1 trick pony himself too and it use to be ebough to get by but...he has other skill like kickboxing that he doesnt use that much. that skill could set upmore punches.
