im in there is alot of nice spots so the day should be friday evening the time should be after 8pm location well thats a good question should it be a bar type atmosphe, a club,a resturant?and it shoul be about meeting and hooking up come on now thats what we are all here for right?

No if a "hook up" is what your other post is about, that is not what we're all looking for.
Personally, I don't like meeting strangers in bars. Coffee, pool, bowling, something light and fun for all, not sitting around seeing who's personality improves as you get drunker.

You should start doing an actual count of who wants to attend seriously and have them suggest where. That way you know what size group you are looking at, tally up the suggestions and the most popular should be selected and then you will be better able to select the exact location that will be most suitable. As for day, date and time you might as well just throw a dart at a calendar. You're never going to be able to accommodate everyone. Just make it far enough out so people can plan to attend.

OK folks plenty of fish did this last month .I didnt go it was in mass i think sprinfield.all the guys were to wear light blue shirts and the girls little black dresses \,this way you knew that you were aproaching a single looker.They met at a place (cant remember)where you didnt have to book like a hotel lounge.I think its a great idea we could do an 8 minute date game or just wing it.Hartford is good or we do two one east of q river other west. no?sounded good to me

Is anybody managing this process?? Has a time and place been chosen?
I suggest a social setting like a bar or lounge, but one that is not too loud (although I love live music). Just a fun place where we can have a sort of a party that would be an ideal setting for whatever your intention might me - whether it be hooking up, a serious relationship, or finding a friend to talk to. 
Let's finalize this and make it happen!

I ventured out to meet two men who professed to be other than themselves on Match.com and now I am actually very concerned to meet anyone else; hesitant to believe which really saddens me. I really believed that being older. individuals would behave better ... silly me.
I am eager to meet others to have some DAMN FUN!!
No, not all men are terrible ... I'm sorry I forgot your name, you are in Coventry and 26. Please know that as you get older people do crazier things. And I'm certain that just as many women are just as bad as all those men!
I would enjoy meeting people of all ages on a night out with the possibility of meeting like minded people of my age to engage.
I'll keep watching here to see if anything is planned!

Dianna it's unfortunate you met a few less honorable fellows.
Which is why I'm for the group outing, it let's everyone meet on friendly terms and gives safety in numbers, no one is left alone, unless by choice and you take off together. 
So... with that said are there any more ideas for places to go?
I suggested Panera before because personally I don't like bars very much, but there is food (it is soup season!) and plenty of table space, yet it's quiet enough to talk.
I'd also suggest an early evening 7-8, so there is an open option to book out and head home or head off to do something else.
Doing something early also lends the possibility to a week night.
I myself have family commitments on Fridays and I'm with my paranormal group on Saturdays (though if this does come together, with enough notice I could arrange to make a Sat.)
What's say we pick a central locale and a date and get to work?
