I saw a pregnant women tonight at the grocery store, more tatoos then you could count, but pregnant. Someone values and loves her, enough, to accept it. When they get older, post the thread again 40 years from now, and when "I love mom" turns into "I love mum", and they are beaten up by political activist, I will have to be mum on the issue. Well, heh, I assume they live in America, on more levels than one, and fail on many more.

Go for it Missy! I think tattoos can look incredibly sexy on a woman as long as they're not too masculine and tastefully done. Lower back, maybe ankle are good. But as you say - you have to be totally 100% happy with the design before you go aheadas once its done - its for life! I'm happy with mine and am probably gonna get one more done too - so you go for it hun.

This is only my opinion but I've never seen a tatoo that I've liked. Even on a yong beautiful girl, a small tatoo on the ankle takes away from the natural beauty of the body. When that young girl gets old, it will look just plain ridiculous. It's a personal decision but the angel wings on your back...just might limit the men who will consider you as a partner and that's a shame, particularly for someone as beautiful as you are.

imikimi - Customize Your World[/quote] I may sound like a broken record here, but tattoos ARE forever, even if you get them removed you still have the scar (so what's the point of removal?). I've always wanted one, ever since I was 14, and I was 24 before I actually got one (I don't just jump into decisions like that). I don't regret getting them (I have two). I got my tattoos for me and I love them (and will love them when I am old!) But I don't want to be one big walking tattoo..haha. I would present a lot of your concerns to already tattooed friends...Who did the art? What was the cost? What is it you would want put PERMANENTLY on your body? Will you like it in 10 years? 20 years? Ask yourself (as well as tattooed acquaintances) multiple questions and explore the reason you really want one. Good luck!

it's all preference. You like or u don't. No sense being bothered with what other people do to themselves. Worry about the dumb f**ks that hurt innocent people; especially those who harm children and the elderly. Another human who chooses, of his/her own free will, to tattoo, pierce, brand, etc. their own bodies is practicing their freedom of choice..

Point being, there are more important issues to spend ur energy on in this world...

IMO- Tattoos rock- i'm addicted to 'em and will not stop getting them.. I get a sexual rush from the pain also..

I love tattoos on a woman and I have a few myself. As for your concern for looking weird I don't think angel wings would look weird no matter age you live to be. The people you posted the pic of might have over did it but I will probably look that way eventually, I think tattoos partly define a person kinda like they are saying 'Hey look at me, I'm not exactly like everyone else, I'm me'. You thinking about life size angel wings? That would be very cool i think. JMO tho
