There are many great hotels. Just make sure that you do a lil homework so you don't end up in a dive. Most motels now days are dives, though there are a couple good ones. If you know of a decent hotel (Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Spring Hill, Marriott....) give them a call directly, if you choose not to stay with them for whatever reason, ask them if they have any other suggestions. They know the area... (have worked in hotels for a couple years now.)

Tents are better then a hotel/motel, just something cheap about them..
Now, go back to the log cabin on the mountaintop in Tenn. with and hot tub on the back deck...Nobody for miles around. In the afternoon we take a walk thorough the woods looking at the change in the trees and mother natural at her best.. Just ahead we see, a doe nursing her twins. As we walk hand in hand, we can hear the water fall just ahead… I must adjust the backpack because the glasses are making noise against the bottle of wine and disturbing our world and peace. I move a few tigs to make sure she is comfortable, then spread the blanket out on the ground next to the little fall with only a 4ft drop, but that is prefect, for at this moment we are not sharing with anyone else in world. As I pour a little red wine, she is pulling the bread apart and the cheese is already cut…. I set the bottle in the stream that is flowing by, to keep it chilled and handy.. We lay for hours with my arms around her, listing and thinking about how blessed and happy we are today, for tomorrow is promised to no one... I can feel my heart beating in my chest and smell the fragrant of her hair. ………………………………………………………………
Two hours later, the sun is starting to set, I pack up the bag and head back to the cabin. I still can’t let go of her hand, for I’m afraid of lose her, even a moment, I could not bare that…
After we get back, we slip into the hot tub, sipping a little Martini & Rossi and the strawberries are chilled and the chocolate has melted. We moved to the bedroom and dry each other off slid under the sheet……..
SORRY, SOMETHINGS I DON’T SHARE,,,,
Later, Blu

Blue that sounds wonderful!
I prefer hotels or resorts for a romantice weekend If I wasnt with Blue lOL..That way in between "sessions" you have a variety of things to do...getting a couples massage or sitting in the hot tub..

I have never been with a women, that didn't start out with a massage, including the feet..
Little story .. The last singles cruise I was on, there were 6 of us in the hot tub, 3 and 3.. I started giving the lady across from me a foot massage. Before long everyone was , must have been the drinks..

I have only met a woman in a motel once. They had special 4 hour rates. It was clean, but from another time. It was in Laurel MD, near the racetrack, on US Route One. There are lots of them from the 1940s, before the Interstates were built. The whole experience was Delightfully Sleazy
As a footnote, when the 9/11 attacks happened, they mentioned that Mohammad Atta and crew had stayed in "an adult motel in Laurel". I wonder if perhaps we were in the same hotel and/or even in the same room?

P.S. Who can afford a Real Hotel these days?

Any motel painted labia pink would suffice...as long as there are no roaches, bed bugs, or sleazy people hanging about...know of a place in Minneapolis that fits the bill perfectly.....For my fellow Minnesotans...it's called "The Falls"...unless they tore the shithole down...great porno on 12 stations...and you get to hear the next room banging all night.....LOL

I agree with dreama. bed and breakfast , there is one up in the NC Mountains that is along this stream, there are no tv's or radio's. It is great. , but if its between motel or hotel, definately hotel. I think most motels you can rent by the hour now

I vote for the tent with the stars or heck in the summer no tent at all just throw the sleeping bags next to the fire and look to the stars, listen to the stream as it goes by and hope you don't hear those bear feet padding by.
