Ok, I look at things that way and am very openminded as to what other people choose to do with their lives. The thing I dont get on these date sites is when you list that you are a straight person and then someone of the same sex still send you a message, a wink, or a chat request. If I state that I am straight why waste your time??

There are those who join straight dating sites that are either bi or gay with intentions soley to seek out someone who may be bi-curious or gay-curious and sometimes they get lucky in their quest. I wouldn't take it so much to heart and if you are that offended with it then utilize the prohibitive measures you've been given and just block them and that would be the end of that.

Repo, you can't always assume they are gay though some might be. I have had several women try to IM me and I simply emailed them that I was straight and that I would be interested in friendship only. Over half of them were straight women just wanting to know how to make friends with people because of the what we write in the forums. Just a little food for thought.
