Well, because every few months I am put in a different city and state and I don't know a single person. This is a good place to start for 1-3 for me. I eventually do want a long term relationship but just starting this job has put that in standby at the moment because I don't want to be put into the position of having to choose between my new job and them when I have just met them. We all know how that usually works out. So I want to see the country, if I meet someone along the way and stay in contact with that person, then maybe there might be something there but not going to say yes there will be because I have plans for myself right now. I have just started a new chapter in my own life and would like to continue it to see where I might end up.

Hmmm....I need to meet new people. I really hate it when someone immediately asks my gender and what I look like. That stuff is for juveniles. I need someone who is done playing the games and wants to be serious. I want a friend and eventually maybe something deeper. I am in the middle of a divorce and if anyone has advice...bring it on! It sucks big time. I still love my husband but he has chosen to be with someone else so I am being forced to let go. Enough of that... I really just need someone to talk to.

I would like to meet people that don't think that Gold Bar is in the boonies.....(Most everyone out here works in Everett, Seattle and the Eastside..) Forty or Fifty miles is not that far to find a special friend.....Sometimes a good friend and companion is not in your back yard.......take that first step spend a little gas money. It may be worth the trip......

I'm on here primarily to make friends. I'm not even in WA yet, so I can't really date. I love to check in the WA chat messages and read what everyone is saying, also have been reading the artists and Musicians messages boards.. People are generally friendly and willing to talk. This must say something about what kind of life I lead down here in CA.. mostly sitting in front of my computer by myself at night
Reading and joining in the message boards makes me feel not quite so alone.

I'd have to say 1,2,& 3.
Especially with the chat you can get to know someone before you ask them out- or decide you don't want to ask them out.
My work leaves little time to meet single ladies, ( Being self employed at times really cuts into ones actual life- especially when you work other odd jobs too.), besides not being much of a "socializer".
